What should you be asking your potential venue?
After you have the basics asked: How many people do you hold for ceremony vs. reception? What are my minimums and rental fees ($$)? and availability here are some equally important questions.
How many total hours do we have for event time and how is it broken up?
Can we add extra hours on the front and end? If yes, what’s the hourly rate.
What time can my vendors arrive on site?
Are there two getting ready spaces? And what time can we arrive for them?
What vendors do you require we hire and do you require them for your list or can we hire our own?
Also FOLLOW up with an email confirming all these questions with the answer. Always get these items in writing.
